How do I add a location? All I get when I try to edit is a drop down list saying "no location".

Click the avatar in the top right corner of the navigation bar. This will expand your account menu. In the column titled Organize click Locations. Here you can create, edit and remove locations.

Or, you can select Locations in the Ribbon.
With the Ribbon expanded, you can add a location, and you can click on the pencil in the top right of the Ribbon to get to the Locations screen that Bridget mentions above.
