Hi...new user here. I'm intrigued by the import tasks via email function, as this would allow me to create tasks at work without having to type so much on my as yet to be purchased iPhone. I currently use Palm Desktop (I know...it's really OLD), and take lots of notes within the Tasks function.
My question is whether Toodledo will allow me to update an existing task (e.g. append notes) via email? If so, how can I do this. If not, do you see this as a potential future enhancement? Thanks, Mike |

You can add new tasks, and retrieve existing tasks through email, but there is no way to edit existing tasks. It is a cool idea though.

Very good idea. There will need to be some kind a tagging or ID system in place. This would make it easy to identify the task you want to update.

In the interim, I did think of a workaround...
Email in a new task containing the notes updates. Then copy and paste the additional notes into the original task. It might just be easier to type the additional notes on the iPhone though. Just a thought. Thanks for the quick response. Mike |
