# setup

Have a saved search - Next 7 days.
Search criteria: due before today, today, and next 7 days
Filter options: show everything, subtasks indented.
Results sorted by date due, folder, star

# Results
If parent task has no due date, but subtasks have a due date, the subtasks are not displayed. The parent tasks display the due date of the first subtask.

# Request

When parent task has no due date, but sub-tasks have a due date, parent task should expand and display subtasks meeting search / sorting criteria.
If parent task has sub tasks that meet multiple sorting / grouping criteria, parent task should be displayed in those groups with subtasks that meet the group criteria.

That's it.

A good request. I spotted that too.

Thanks for the suggestion. We do not comment on timeframes for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.

Thanks
