Saved search to populate tasks in gmail gadget?

I want to be able to see a list of tasks that include tasks that are due within a week of today and tasks that are tagged with birthday and that are due within a month to be shown on the gmail gadget. Is there a way to do this?

Remember the milk could do this on their web page but not in their gmail gadget.
The Remember the milk search looked like this:
(tag:birthday AND dueWithin:"30 days of today") OR (dueBefore:"1 week of today")

Any ideas?

The same search would work on Toodledo, but unfortunately Saved Searches are not available from the Slim website, or any of its gadgets, including the one for Gmail.

You can make a saved search on the website, but they aren't yet available on the gadgets, although this is on the to-do list.
