No default context when adding subtask

when I try to enter a sub task to a task via hovering over the hand icon or with the add subtask button once a sub task is placed under a task the subtask does not inherit the default context. It seems to me that the subtasks should inherit the default context as well,is this a bug or a shortcoming due to the method if input?

I have a pro plus subscription.

Thanks

People use subtasks so differently that it would not be popular for that to be a universal default. Folder is the only inherited attribute currently. Toodledo has said they have options for increased subtask inheritance on their to do list.

We do plan to allow inheritance as a user-preference.
