Completed tasks not being removed from my task list

I have tasks checked as complete - refreshing the page, logging back in, or changing the view does not remove the task with the completed checkmark from the task list. How do I remove completed tasks without having to delete them?

Check your filter (the eye icon in upper right corner - there is an option to show/hide Recently completed tasks. You probably have it set to show (eye wide open).
