You have to set up notifications on the website. Then you will be able to set reminders for tasks in the iPhone app. Follow these instructions to get it set up: http://www.toodledo.com/info/help.php?sel=85

Specifically what part of the setup procedure is not working for you?
When you go to this page: http://www.toodledo.com/connect_remind.php
Does "iPhone" show up as one of the options?
If it does, make sure you select it, and click "Save Changes".
If it does not appear there, then one of the following must be the case:
-You have not properly enabled notifications from the iPhone end.
-You have a jailbroken phone that cannot use Apple's Push network.
-Your phone carrier does not support Apple Push notification.

Your changes have been saved

#1 iPhone
You will receive sound alerts on your iPhone for tasks and your application badge will be updated periodically.

It looks ok there.

My iPHONE is not jailbreaked and other applikations push notifications are working.

I will test a sample task now.

It should work then. Remember that you must set the reminder by adding/editing a task for the notification to be activated. The "Remind Me" field should be right after Due Date in the task details.

Also, when setting up a test task with a reminder, make sure to set it far enough in advance for it to have time to be processed on the server. In other words, if you are going to set a task Due at noon with a reminder 1 hour before (~11:00am), make sure you set it up by 10:50am or so at the latest

Are you sure there is no sound alert? The current sound alert is somewhat quiet, and many people have complained it is difficult to hear. The next update of the iPhone app will have more options for the alert sound.

If you are really getting no sound at all, you may have to go into the iPhone settings app, then "Notifications", then "Toodledo", and make sure "Sounds" is turned on.
