Hi!

I really like toodledo since it's redesign because it's spreadsheet-like overview so much resembles my formerly used excel-solution.

But one thing I've noted just: when I create a task (read lifehacker later) with a note attached containing a link, clicking that link just hops away from my tasklist and opens the link.

In kind of workflow i would really really like to have a new window (tab) open.

What do you mean?
Do I miss something or do you feel the same?

Bye!
Chris

What happens when you right-click on the link? Doesn't it offer you the option to open in another window or tab?

Yeah, this is all working...
But sometimes I forget clicking with the middle and then I'm off toodledo.

I'm one of those who like to keep it open and in the same place and so leaving the site by accident annoys me ;)

Great incentive to learn new habits! :)

In Firefox, "CTRL-left click" opens links in a new tab (SHIFT-left click for new window). Since some sites open links in the same tab and some don't, I've just gotten in the habit of always pressing CTRL-click.
