Hi,

I need help. My sync between Outlook and Toodledo is corrupt. I get as message "Fatal error initializing user" and don't get the chance to open anything -> it's not possible to start the Toodledo Sync Application Options and to key in a new Unique ID.

I am confused. It runs for 2 weeks and I changed nothing but it won't work any longer.

I deinstalled and installed it again a few times.

I am runnig: Vista with Outlook 2007

Can anyone help me.

Thanks

Thomas

What information is being logged to the syncapp.log file in Program Files\Chromatic Dragon\Toodleso Sync Application. This may give a clue as to the cause of the error.

Unfortunately that doesn't really tell me much, but here is something you can try
1) Uninstall the application
2) Delete contents of the following folder (this will erase the user settings file)
\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Chromatic_Dragon
3) Reboot
4) Download and re-install the application

If that doesn't help then the issue is likely to be with your .NET installation and you might want to try repairing/reinstalling the Microsoft .NET Framework 2

Hope that helps

Since yesterday evening I am having the same issue as the above user.
I also do not have a syncapp.log file in the respective folder.

I followed all of Keith's above suggestions, including a repairing/reinstalling of Microsoft .NET Framework 2; to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sorry, my error is actually different (still I tried everything Keith said above). I'll post a new thread with the actual error message.
