Hi,
Apparently, if you do not specify anything in the alarm page: https://www.toodledo.com/tools/alarms.php the reminder value from the api is always put to 0 in Toodledo. Could you please confirm ? Thank you, Ben |

I was not able to verify this. You do need to set a due-date otherwise the reminder will be 0, but it doesn't matter what is in the Alarm section of Toodledo.

I have just tried again.
You setup an alarm. You put a reminder on a task with a due date in Toodledo You remove all the alarms. The reminder value in Toodledo is erased. And when I retrieve the updated tasks with API, the task reminder field has been updated to 0. |

I just tested this.
1) Retrieved tasks from API. Reminder was set 2) Removed the alarm locations at http://beta.toodledo.com/tools/alarms.php 3) Retrieved the same tasks from the API. Reminder was still set. Maybe you are doing something else that I am missing? |

(Every step in Toodledo's website)
1) Choose an alarm 2) Choose a reminder for a task on due date 3) Remove the alarms 4) Change the due date of that task The reminder value is reset to 0. The problem is that some users might want to change the reminder in a third party app without having set any alarm. Then if they change the due date of the task in Toodledo, the reminder value is reset, and the third party app will also be reset. This message was edited Aug 30, 2011. |

Ok, I understand the problem now. Yes you are right. If the user doesn't have any alarm locations set, then they will not be able to adjust the due-date on the website without unsetting the alarm. I will look into this.
