Sync on launch of client?

What I'd like to do is run the client, have it sync once, then close. I'd rather not keep it running constantly and eating up resources, and having to tell it to manually sync then exit is kinda a pain. I've made a batch file to launch the client, wait, then kill the process, but it doesn't sync once opened. Is there a way to either force a sync on launch or just have the client do what I'm hoping to?
In all, I love the client. It's what pulled me away from some other GTD software *coughRTMcough*!

I guess I could add a command line option to switch this behaviour on. I'll add this to the queue of potential enhancements.
