So installed and when logging in get a cookie error. No way to click the link with info on how to fix provided. I tried with both Chrome and Safari and got the same result.

Anyone have a solution?

Thanks
Martin

I'm having the same problem on Mac OS X 10.7.4. The widget worked before the most recent updates to the OS and Safari, now I receive an error message indicating that cookies cannot be saved.

Same here, it used to work on my OS X Lion, but a week ago i suddenly got logged out of the widget, and when logging in i get the cookie error.

I expect that one of recent the OS X updates is the culprit?

This has just happened for me as well, on OS X 10.6.8.

Have 2 Macs running OS X Lion here, almost identical as far as software and apps. The widget is working on one and not the other.

Hi

I also had this problem, and found the following workaround:

1. Load Safari.
2. Go to the preferences screen. (Safari menu -> Safari -> Preferences)
3. Click on the 'Privacy' tab.
4. Set 'Block Cookies' option to 'Never'.

You should now be able to log into the dashboard widget with no issues.

It's worth remembering that this will impact upon your actual browser security settings, however - advertisers will be able to track you using cookies. One possible way around this would be to use a different browser to Safari for your everyday browsing.

I was able to make it work without changing Safari's settings by just logging in to the Toodledo website using Safari and checking the "remember me" box to set the cookie. After that, the widget works fine in the dashboard.

And why should I be forced to use Safari when my preference is Firefox? It should work with all browsers. In fact, this should not be an issue at all. They should fix it to work without this issue!
