It took me a while to figure out why the dialog for entering date/time kept disappearing. I thought it was a bug, and almost rejected the app because of it. I'd select the text for the time, press del key, but then, just before I started typing, the dialog would disappear.
I realized today that this happens because I move the mouse cursor out of the way. When it is not over the dialog, the dialog goes away. While this is an interesting and clever idea, it's terrible in practice because it is so non-standard. I've used thousands of Windows apps, and I've never seen this behavior before. I suggest using the Windows standard, with OK and Cancel buttons, or the Android standard. HTH, Al |
