I apologize for the inconvenience. We are aware of this issue and have
it fixed. The fix will be in the next release of Toodledo. In the mean
time this may help:

1) Press the home button to return to the home screen.
2) Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking dock.
3) Tap and hold on the Toodledo icon until it starts to jiggle.
4) Tap the red - symbol in the upper left corner of the Toodledo icon
to force quit the app.
5) Relaunch Toodledo
6) Enter your password in the Sync Settings page and press save.

Force quitting an app will not delete the information inside. Only deleting the app will delete the information inside.

Thanks, Jake! "Force quit" worked for me, too. I had never done a force quit before but now I see the difference between that and deleting the app.

Having access to my Toodle-Do to-do list and notes in my pocket is a huge convenience.

Here are some hints for other rookies. The "mult-tasking dock" is a band across the bottom of the screen which I don't usually see. When I got there I could see the "red -" symbol Jake is talking about. It is sitting on the upper left corner of the Toodle-Do icon. Pressing that closed the app, but did not delete it. When I went back to the main screen I tapped on the Toodle-Do icon, the program opened, I entered my password, and I got a message that is was starting to sync.

I had a similar issue which was sorted by a power off/on of the iPhone.

for what it is worth i'm also seeing this same problem. Force quit does fix. My pad version does not have an issue.

I am having the same Error 1001, etc problem 3.0.5 (build 2602). The work-around of killing and restarting the app temporarily allows sync to work, but then the problem quickly returns.

Its unfortunate, that Toodledo was unable to prevent this pervasive bug from impacting the field. I would like to know what is the ETA for an update? Has a fix been submitted to Apple at this point?

Thanks

After downloading iPhone version 3.0.5 (2602) I am getting constant sync problems between iPhone and website. I've tried re-entering login/password, doesn't help. The only thing that helps (sometimes) is powering off my iPhone and powering it back on. Toodeldo well then sync for a while, and then eventually stop again.

FYI, I'm not getting my notes to sync on my iPhone unless I remove the app and reinstall (version 3.06). Killing and restarting doesn't work.

Can you please create a support ticket for this so that we can look into your account and see what the problem is?

Thanks

Similar problem but it may be due to the Android ToDo Today app (listed in TD's 3rd party app page). I have the iOS TD app running on an iPhone 4 and an iPad 2 and haven't seen any sync errors with the server. I have ToDo Today on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 which I hadn't opened in about two weeks. But when I did - wham! - two weeks of updates down the drain. Looks like ToDo Today erroneously sync'd the old data to the server instead of downloading the newer data. That's a fatal flaw - the ToDo Today installation is now history.

Android version of ToodleDo coming soon...? Please?
