automatic assignment of context/tags per folder

Hi,
Fairly recent user of Toodledo (and Got To Do on my Android phone) and I like it very much so far! One thing though - that I am wondering if it is possible to set up... I have most of my tasks separated in folders. For my work there are multiple folders, for instance, for ordinary personal a few, for my association one folder etc. I experimented with contexts a bit first, but I am not so keen on the manual work of assigning contexts every time you create a task (and the hassle when you forget that). What I am really looking for is a way to automatically assign all tasks in the "work project A" folder to the "work" context, etc. Another alternative would be to use tags, I guess. I can see it being handy that tasks could be in multiple contexts/tags some times, but that wouldn't be that common. What I am really looking for is some kind of super folders at a top level of hierarchy, I guess! Any tips on how to solve this? |

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we can't comment on a timeframe for implementation.

You can set new task defaults in your settings. That might solve part of your problem.
