Hi there,

I am new to GTD and have been using Toodledo for about a month. I believe I have made good progress and have come to rely on my GTD system. I wondered if the following was possible:-

Is there anyway I can make particular folder not visible. For example, one of my folders is called Personal (things relating to me and my homelife). When I am at work, it would be extremely useful to be able to view the contents of the other 6 folders with the Personal one hidden.

Thanks in advance.

You can create and save a Search that will show all folders except Personal.
See: http://www.toodledo.com/info/search.php

Or, you can assign your tasks to a Context, such as Personal or Business, and then use the Context filter in each view.
http://www.toodledo.com/info/help.php?search=context

BTW, you can use in Multi-Edit tool (described in the first link above) to assign several tasks to a Context.

Claudio,

Thanks for this information. The search is exactly what I needed. I thought about using a Context of Personal and Business, but it didn't seem to fit right - I currently have a few more contexts (Agenda, Anywhere, Computer, Errands, Home, Office, Phone). I am still learning, so I will explore to see if a Personal context will work for me.

Thanks for all your help
Steve
