I built one for windows which uses the IE engine.
http://sytone.com hit link on left. Working on a offline sync capability at the moment. Sync nearly there except for a update loop which may have just locked my API access for a hour :) |

I use the Due Dates as a foft due date in Toodledo. If it is hard it is in my calendar. Mentally I am happy to be past the due date in Toodle do as it is a nice to have if I do it by that date. It gives me a sense of priority for tasks in a context as well with out haveing a prioriy.
Also in the review I look at why a task which is past the nice to have date has not been done and redefine/negotiate the task and time frame or move it to someday. This works well if you can be happy to see overdue tasks but be comfortable that they are not over due as toodle do is you non hard date items (Outlook is my calendar) |

Its on the roadmap, i needed to change the backend a bit to do that. Ill move it up the list.
Have you used the timer yet? Im interested in feedback. |

Modified the way settings are stored to stop them being lost on upgrades. Created timer functionality with hotkeys. Changed the path for the log files. Hot keys can be editied directly in the config file but require a restart. |

Fixed bug with create new task and hopfully fixed issue with settings being lost between versions.

I doubt you will get the iphone/ipad app but it will be coming to skydrive as a cloud based tool.

Hi,
So I will add bits and peices as I need them but if anyone out there is using it let me know what would make it a bit better than it is at the moment. Im not talking about a request to make it fully offline client etc but if one more thing could be added what would it be. The post by deefnl was a good example of a few issues that could be dealt with in a short time period. |

Hi,
Been away so delays in fixes. V 0.20.1006.0701 - BUG: Task title not being updated between entries fixed. - Added override for the refresh as it was breaking the CSS (User Ctrl+R) - Shifted login to application startup to reduce delay on task creation. - Made the API integration optional in the configuration (On by default) - Added Due Date to the new task window. - Added a cancel button to the create task (Also accessible via Escape) - Internal API modification. |

Hi,
Thanks and I am glad it works. I will add these to the todo list (in toodledo of course!) I intend to extend the task function a lot more but just needed something to start with. Long term goal is a client UI as well as the web UI so you have the best of both worlds. That was as I add functionality to the client you can still use the UI as I find it powerful... Just a bit on the not so nice looking side compared to other web 2.0 sites.. :) |

Hi,
Ensure that the user ID is the ID from the Account Settings page(tdxxxxxxxxxx format). Also click on about and then the view log link to check the log to ensure that there are no other errors. I will update the options page to make this clearer |

Not to sure, the component I am using is the out of the box webbrowser which drops back the internal IE browser on the system (IE8 in the case of Win7).
I remeber having the issue a few months back but then it just went away... What addins do you have for IE? The only addosn outside of the normal MS ones (Office, Visual Studio) and flash, PDF helper and LastPass. |

Hi,
the update is in place for new tasks. Press Win+Alt+N and it will switch to the app and open a simple new task window for you with the note field containg whatever text is in your clipboard. You can use the options to disable the clipboard function and I will look at the hot key configuration at a future point. |

Did some updates to help trap the error. If you get the exception can you send the log and hopfully I will find the error. Also check the log to see if your userid and password are set. V 0.20.1005.3003 - Fixed focus issue with the new task popup. - Stopped excessive authentication against the API. V 0.20.1005.3002 - Started to add logging to the application. Log can be accessed by the view log link in the About box. Please ensure you have removed your id and password before posting! - Changed Add task window to a popup. - Added a system hot key (Win+Alt+N) to make a task from any application. - Task will contain clipboard contents for the note field (Use Options to disable). |
