I also backup my data every Friday using multiple methods of the export tools. I have been using the web site version and found that it has all of my data. I am intentionally not using either the iphone or ipad version in the hope that I do not corrupt any of my data. I am hoping that TD fixes these issues and then I can do a one way Sync from the site into my iphone and ipad. But it would be very nice if someone from TD would actually comment on what is going on and post a daily update with a status. It's not that hard. You have a loyal following some of whom (myself included) pay for this service. It is bad enough you pushed out an update that was clearly not tested enough, but communication could actually solve your problem by letting us know what is going on. Your silence only magnifies the issue and creates more ill will than the underlying problem. Does no one at TD know even the smallest amount of crises management? I tested the app months ago and reported some of the bugs you have now. But they did not fix the bugs. I was a year-long customer. But there was no communication. The promised and promised but nothing happened. After this I switched to TickTick. I am happy. Everything there is working as it should for me. I hope the best for you guys. |

If you are looking at TickTick as an alternative (where I eventually landed) this does a good job of laying out some of the functionality. It has taken time for me to get it where I wanted it (just like Toodledo took me years to perfect my system), but I'm really enjoying Kanban boards customized for each list, built in pomodoro timer, and arranging unassigned task from the calendar view... 6 Apps I Use Every Day to be Productive Thank you for the link! |

When you have tasks for next year: In the task list the year is missing for the displayed due date.

Some bugs I found: - When you add a new task there is no default due date set I found out that this is a default setting you can set. I think I set it in the past and forgot about this feature. Now I enabled the default due date for today and it is working as it should. |

I have one suggestion for a more clear overview.
It is not uncluttered now because you have the task in one line and under it you have the date and so on. So it is two lines for every task. Thisis not so easy to see in my opinion. In my opinion for the overview it would be much clearer to see if every task has one line (like the web view - and is printed in bold font) and the details of due-date, notes-symbol are behind the task name in a smaller font. Or at least an option to make the font of the task bigger and/or bold and the font of the details like due-date in the next line smaller. Would that be possible? Hello,
this morning I got a testflight notification, that a new beta for toodledo is available. I was so happy and installed it. BUT I could see it for about a second (looks like the old app with support for larger screens of newer iPhones and NO dark mode) and after about one second it crashed. Every time I try to open the new app it crashes instantly. A new installation did not bring any improvement. I am very disappointed. I was waiting and hoping so long for a new app with support for larger screens and Dark Mode support... |
