Jake Toodledo Admin	Posted Aug 10, 2012 in: Saving changes to tasks - How Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Aug 10, 2012 Score: 0 I have not heard of this happening with our iPhone app. If the app is named "Toodledo", then it is ours and the best advice I can give is to go into "Settings" and then "Synchronization" and turn off the automatic syncing options temporarily and see if that helps. If you are using a 3rd party app, then you will need to contact the company that makes it for assistance with syncing.

Because of the way we designed Toodledo (with powerful sorting and filtering), it is difficult to add manual sorting. I have not yet seen a to-do list that provides manual sorting and automatic sorting at the same time. Any way you do it, there are compromises and awkwardness. You kind of have to pick one or the other. We will keep thinking about it and if we find an elegant solution, we will do it.

It sounds like an external program is reverting your changes. It isn't possible for Toodledo to revert your changes because we don't save a copy of the old data.

I am not really sure what it could be on our side, but if other developers start reporting this problem we might get some additional information that will help us find the problem. If you get any more clues, please let us know.

You need to load the website once, when online and then it should work from then on out even if you go offline. If it was complaining that you didn't have a connection, it might have just need to wait a few minutes to check for connectivity again. You could try refreshing the page, which will cause it to check immediately.
