I will try to reproduce your issues and see what I can find. One note, if you have changed your hotlist settings in your account settings on this website, the Android app cannot yet pick that up which is why your hotlists aren't matching 100%. We are working on this.

It is just added without a date, so you can find it in your list (try the "recently added" list) and then give it a date.

Jake Toodledo Admin	Posted May 16, 2014 in: Subtasks not in the right folder Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: May 16, 2014 Score: 0 When you give subtasks different folders than their parents and view those subtasks indented, they will appear when you view the parent task. This is because the parent is visible within it's folder and then it shows the subtasks there too, which may be in a different folder. Conversely, depending on your subtask filter and preferences, when you look at the subtask, it may attempt to load the parent task so you can see the entire project. In this case, the parent and all the subtasks will appear here, even though it isn't the correct folder. If you want to prevent this, you will need to view the subtasks with the "inline" filter applied.

We don't test on IE8 anymore. I recommend upgrading to IE9, 10 or 11. I will try to find a copy of IE8 to see if it is a quick fix. This message was edited May 16, 2014.

Our iOS app will show you tasks in close proximity. On this website, you can sort your tasks by distance and it will show you tasks in close proximity, but your computer must have a GPS or be on a WiFi network with a known location.

Jake Toodledo Admin	Posted May 14, 2014 in: Help!! all tasks deleted Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: May 14, 2014 Score: 0 I doubt that you deleted your tasks, but you can check the "Recently deleted tasks" list in your account settings to see, and undelete any tasks that were accidentally deleted. I suspect that you turned on a filter that is hiding the tasks. Click the "Show" button to check. You may also be on a list that is showing nothing. Try clicking "All Tasks". Please open a support ticket if you still have trouble.

This will clean everything out. In the future our app will be able to recover from this type of error. Or you can keep using the app and ignore the warning. What it means is that there is in the app that doesn't appear on the website, but the app thinks it does. This most likely happened because the task was deleted on the website but the app didn't successfully delete it so it is still sticking around.
