Doesn't the Show Details icon or the Z key with hot keys enabled help this?

I wish forum users would stop on one hand complimenting the product and on the other threatening to leave if they don't implement immediately there request. We all have our top requests making up a list of 1000+ requests. Maybe there is a possibility of periodically Toodledo listing there top say 4 priorities for future. My recollection at the beginning of the year was UI and collaboration(I could be wrong) so it may look like this.

1. Bug support & corrections as needed (No description)
2. Minor features as developed (No description)
2. User Interface (Major project)
3. Collaboration (Major project)

If this were done say quarterly it may help the critical continued references to old requests and the standard reply that it is on the list. I guess the only downside is competition knowledge. Just looking for happy solution. I think sometime we forget how reasonably priced this product and its compliments are in relationship to its significant features.

Thoughts?

I have been testing Dropbox and Box links in the notes field of Toodledo so as to have a method to have "dynamic" or latest version of files versus Upload. A number of other packages open a new tab in their browser when clicking on a link. It seems that Toodledo does not open a new tab but just opens in same tab as Toodledo thus not allowing to see both. Do I have this interpreted correct? Is there a way to open a new tab? If not could this be added to improvements list?

Thanks

Main-Recent Added is the View

1. Their are hidden Old Tasks
2. Nothing happens when you click show, no crash, just nothing happens.
3. I have created a very comprehensive Support ticket on this and its associated Search of completed items.

4. I am willing for Support to look at my account if needed.

Thanks

I am not putting any other filters on your view. I am Indenting sub-tasks and using the last option in setting regarding Parents.

Main View-Recently Completed

My sorts are by Folder, Alphabetical, Auto

At the first screen of this view it shows old tasks. There are no other screens. The show button does not click unless I go to the folder by the right arrow. This then would take me to the Folder view. In summary, Main-Recently Completed. In addition as I have conveyed it has to be a task that was completed other than today. For example I have a Vacation folder that all tasks were completed in last 15 days. I expect some of them to be filtered based on your parameters but I also believe the filtered ones should be revealed when I click Show. Nothing happens.

When tasks are hidden on Recently completed clicking Show does not reveal them. This is the only view that I am experiencing this. Anybody else have this problem. I am using Google Chrome.

I have a saved search that is very simple looking for Task or subtasks completed in #of days. There are only two components being tasks checked-Yes and Date completed within last # of days. I am getting searches coming back that say hidden tasks that are old completed when I know they were checked well within time listed. The missing ones are all subtasks and show up if I change from indented to inline. I have the subtask setting on the third choice of the selections. With support on a much deserved vacation I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

Thanks

Does each file have a unique URL or each folder. I am experimenting and only get a URL at the top for the folder. Any assistance?

I want to make sure that I remember correctly that Multi-edit was in the Advanced Search of a collaborator workspace in the old interface. I think it was as I recall using and I think it is on the bug list awaiting correction. Could somebody confirm this for me.

Here is my previous post. This is a workaround that is working fairly well as we await the high priority of collaboration improvement.

We use it in a corporate environment as you will see in the post. I think that Toodledo is a great product for individual management and a good value for corporate. There are many other products available that usually charge $30-$50 per month per seat. Toodledo will need to improve their collaboration which I know they are committed to in order to widen their appeal to the corporate environment. To elaborate a little further on my corporate use if you are on a budget prohibiting the more corporate intense products I still would recommend the following:

1. Obtain dummy email and Toodledo Pro account for as many department levels as you desire to divide. This then provides Department or Segment or Team, then Folders, then Tasks, then Subtasks.

2. Invite your participants including yourself to share as collaborators in the dummy account. You will have to create Folders and some of the other fields in the dummy account but afterwards their would be little access as you would see everything in your account as would others who you give Folder permission.

3. You can have dummy account forward changes to anybody you want through the email.

4. I then use Tags using the initials of the employee.

5. I then have created Advanced Searches on the dummy database as follows:

1. Recently Added
2. Recently Modified
4. Recent Notes
5. Search by Tag or combination of Tags

All are available in standard Toodledo views but Advanced Searches let you specify the timeframes.

In the end it is a decent inexpensive team but will not be robust in emails. The trade off is that Toodledo has a great new interface and with the set up I specified their will be very rapid navigation etc. Notes will be limited to task content notes and the Notes that can by sorted by project.

I am sure I have given you way more than you asked but this is a corporate approach.

Is it a search involving more than one rule? If not, would it be possible to go to your Folder View and use the Quick Search on the right hand side at the top

Agree, at a minimum alphabetical is easier to find especially if using them as initials of resources like I am

Hopefully the future will allow option of detailed or not because in my corporate use it does not show enough, like Folder, Parent Task etc.
