I have a problem while syncing
I have deleted few folders that were not necessary Now i receive only one message every time i try to sync: The folder specified in your call does not exist. What exactly is going wrong and how can i rectify this? |
Benjamin Leclerc |
You can fix this by going in Settings -> Synchronization -> Synchronize All (the second button at the bottom of that screen)
|
sarois3 |
That did not work.
I also upgraded to the latest version .87, but still no luck I am stuck |
Benjamin Leclerc |
Are you really sure you click on the last button in the Synchronization panel ?
|
sarois3 |
Your are right, I didn't
Now it worked Thanks |

Ok, btw, I have fixed the problem. It shouldn't happen again (in the futur version).

Hello Benjamin,
how is working the Personal edit searcher, if we want to add a condition related to time (e.g start date or due date). I'd like for example to see only the tasks that have a starting date within the 2 next weeks. Is it possible? thanks quentin |

Ben,
Is there anyway to manually resort tasks in all view. In particular the Starred view This is critical to me when trying to sort out my day activities, and is a fantastic feature that i used in "Things" app on my desktop. I work around this now by assigning Priorities and sort asper that, however this is not as flexible as having a manual sort. Regards, |

Hi,
Sorry, it isn't possible for the moment, but I will add it into the feature request list. |

I can't get the Toodledo plugin to download. I have my proxy information configured, and it shows me the plug availability on the list, but when I try and download it, I get the following:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.socketConnect(Native Method) at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.doConnect(Unknown Source) at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.connectToAddress(Unknown Source) at java.net.PlainSocketImpl.connect(Unknown Source) at java.net.SocksSocketImpl.connect(Unknown Source) at java.net.Socket.connect(Unknown Source) at java.net.Socket.connect(Unknown Source) at sun.net.NetworkClient.doConnect(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.openServer(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.openServer(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.New(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.http.HttpClient.New(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getNewHttpClient(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.plainConnect(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.connect(Unknown Source) at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(Unknown Source) at java.net.URL.openStream(Unknown Source) at org.apache.commons.io.FileUtils.copyURLToFile(FileUtils.java:1126) at com.leclercb.taskunifier.gui.components.plugins.PluginsUtils.installPlugin(PluginsUtils.java:172) at com.leclercb.taskunifier.gui.components.plugins.PluginsPanel$1$1.doActions(PluginsPanel.java:106) at com.leclercb.taskunifier.gui.components.plugins.PluginsPanel$1$1.doActions(PluginsPanel.java:1) at com.leclercb.taskunifier.gui.components.plugins.PluginWaitDialog$PluginRunnable$1.doInBackground(Plu ginWaitDialog.java:88) at com.leclercb.taskunifier.gui.components.plugins.PluginWaitDialog$PluginRunnable$1.doInBackground(Plu ginWaitDialog.java:1) at javax.swing.SwingWorker$1.call(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask$Sync.innerRun(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.FutureTask.run(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.SwingWorker.run(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.runTask(Unknown Source) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) |

@sarois3
Sorry, it isn't possible for the moment, but I will add it into the feature request list. @bourrouq Yes that's possible You click on add condition, then in the fields on the bottom of the window, you select: Start Date Less than 14 or 15 (+ press enter) @apastuszak I have made some changes on the server this after noon in order to prepare the release of the new version. Please try with version 0.9.0 and tell me if you face any problem. |

0.9 gave the same problem.
|
apastuszak |
Also just noticed that the top menus are now File then View and and Edit. Shouldn't they be File then Edit then View?
|
apastuszak |
Can't add an icon to a Searcher also.

Hi apastuszak,
Well, I will investigate the problem with the plugin. For the moment, the easiest is to download this file : http://www.taskunifier.com/plugins/toodledo/files/TaskUnifierPluginToodledo_3_0.jar And to copy it into your data plugins directory. - Windows : YourUser\Application Data\TaskUnifier\plugins - Mac : ~/Library/Application Data/TaskUnifier/plugins - Linux : ~/.taskunifier/plugins Sorry for the problem |

Hi Ben,
How are you? Since last we liaised I have been installing all your updates systematically. After installing the new plugin versions and software updates, I "Synchronize All" to see the effect and then I replace all the data with that from Toodledo. In both cases all my subtasks become parents. what am I not doing? I mostly use folders in my set up. Kind regards Tony Because the tasks already loaded in TaskUnifier won't be updated of course. So, you need to go to Settings -> Synchronize All (the second button, the one which deletes everything) Posted by Ant_1293528082: Hi Ben,
I'll try it out and let you know. For the moment after 2 minutes dedicated research subtasks show from Taskunifier to Toodledo. However Toodledo to Taskunifier has subtasks arriving as tasks. Thanks for your prompt help and i'll keep you updated. Kindest regards Tony |

Ant_1293528082:
I'm not sure to understand correctly. You have installed 0.9.0 + plugin 3.0 and you still do not see subtasks ? Are you sure you clicked on the second (at the bottom) button in the synchronization panel ? Kr, Benjamin |
