Really strange...

Could you go in "plugins", delete the file ending .jar (something like bd6c451c-3f29-4675-8eb6-95ffbb668ee2.jar)

Then copy this file :
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/16988318/TaskUnifierPluginToodledo.jar
into the "plugins" folder (you do not need to rename it)

Then synchronize again and send me again the log files ?

Thank you very much

hi TaskUnifier

i arealdy replace the *.jar and mail the log to you

Hi p.houska,

Thanks for the suggestions.

1) This is too specific, when you start it, it is to show the window imho.

2) This is a good suggestion, will be implemented in next release

Hi,

I'm new to Taskunifier and I think it's a great program.

I apologize if this question has already been asked but I couldn't see it when I scanned through the topic.

Is there anyway to have no time associated to a task. In Toodledo, I often leave the time blank unless I have a specific due time. Toodledo will default the end of the day in the background. However, when this is synced with Taskunifier, it then becomes the beginning of the day and all my task become overdue.

Is there something I can do for this?

Great work.

Hi,

You have to go to Settings -> Use due time / Use start time.

When this is unchecked, you won't see the times in TaskUnifier anymore, and it will be correctly synced to Toodledo.

Of course, the task already synced with a time of 0:00 should be changed manually, or in TaskUnifier, to resync them correctly.

Im testing out the product and the synchronization with my Toodledo pro-account and I've found a few flaws...

1. The due date displays improperly. In the Settings it says it will display as MM.DD.YYYY and in the column view it displays as DD.MM.YYYY.
2. If you have "indent subtasks" checked and the column for tasks/subtasks is not wide enough to show the entire title, it automatically pushes the title to the left - removing the indentation. This creates a visual inconsistency. Instead, I'd suggest just cutting off the text that will not fit.
3. From what I can see, there is no way to quickly switch from subtask to parent task. when "indent subtasks" is left unchecked.

As stated before, the developer seems to be very responsive, and I'm optimistic that these issues can be addressed. If they are, this is the best thing going for Toodledo users on the Mac.

Hi,

1. MM.DD.YYYY is not available in the list, so it will be hard to select it (but I have added this missing date format in the list for next release :) ). Did you restart TU after having chosen the date format ?

2. Tested and even if the task title is too long, the subtasks are still indented. Could you try again ? Send me a screenshot ? ([email protected]) Thanks !

3. I will think about it, thanks.

Ben

Benjamin,

I just started using taskunifier. I noticed a column that can be selected in TU call order. I thought that might allow me to fine tune ordering task but it doesn't let me edit the values.

So I was curious as to how that field can me used and what your intentions are for that column.

It is explained in the help "Manually sort tasks".

In order the manually sort tasks, you must select the column "Order" (ascending) as first sort order column (of the task searcher). Then you will be able to drag & drop tasks in order to sort them manually.

So, you do not need to display this column if you don't want to, because you simply have to drag & drop the tasks.

Hey Benjamin!

Kudos for another quick update!

I have a quick question, since you have a plugin architecture, are you per chance planning an evernote plugin? and if its not too much to ask, do you have a timeline for release in mind?

Also, I might upgrade to Toodledo Pro Plus if Task Unifier supports Toodledo's attached documents ... does it?

Thanks a ton!

Hi Ranjit,

1) Not planned for the moment, and to be honest, I don't know if it will be ever planned.

2) No because Toodledo's API doesn't support attached documents.
(but it could be a good feature request to send to Toodledo's admins)

Have you considered implementing the full screen Lion feature for the Mac version?

Amazing app btw.
