Posted Jul 30, 2013 in: Toodledo Toosdays: Save Important Tags
Score: 1
Our Toodledo Toosday Tip:
Here is a good way to save important tags. Create a task named "Saved tags" and tag it with all the tags you would like to keep. You can then mark that task with a negative priority and hide it from your list. This way the task stays hidden, but your tags are always saved and available! Can I have my dates listed on my Tasks in a format similar to: Sunday, July 28 Instead of just July 28. I really want to be able to see the day of the week at a quick glance on my tasks. If you hover your cursor over the due date for a couple seconds a little flag will appear showing the day of the week. Hope that helps! |

There is a full explanation in the tutorial video I posted above. They will need to go to the collaboration page in the "tools" menu (http://www.toodledo.com/share.php) and then accept your request there. Then, they can also add you as a collaborator and edit share settings by clicking on your profile.

Score: 0
Our Toodledo Toosday Tip:
Keeping track of progress towards goals is a great motivation. You can do this with “goal chains”. When you complete a task that contributes to a goal, Toodledo will keep track of it and your goal chain will get longer. Try to not break the chain! Do these defaults work for tasks emailed into ToodleDo? Yes, be sure to check off the option that says, "also use these defaults for tasks added via email or twitter". It can be found on the same settings page for defaults. Here's the direct link: http://www.toodledo.com/account_edit.php?edit=18 Hope that helps! |

Hi Ben,
In the mean time, try changing the sound to one that's a bit longer. You can do this in your Toodledo settings under "date alarms". |

Score: 1
Our Toodledo Toosday Tip:
Some people like to organize their day around large blocks of time to concentrate on important tasks. Create a task for a specific block of time, for example "Complete tasks 2pm-5pm", then drag your to-do’s inside that task to make subtasks. You can also use the length field to estimate the time that each subtask will take. Viewing this task before hand will also prepare you for a productive 3 hours! Posted Jul 02, 2013 in: Feature Request - easly review completed tasks
Score: 0
Hello,
You can create a saved search without using specific dates. For example, you can create a search that says: "Checked off> yes" "Date completed> was in the last> 7 days" (3 days, 14 days, 30 days, etc.) This search will update everyday with new completed tasks within past seven days. Hope that helps. |
