Today's tip:

Creating a task by bookmarking a website is so easy with the Toodledo bookmarklet. Just add the bookmarklet to your toolbar and click on it when you want to bookmark a website and create a task.

Hello,

If you use the "start date" field, the "hide future tasks" filter will hide those tasks and only show them on the day of. Updating this for "due date" is on our to-do list for a future update.

Hope that helps!

Every Toosday we will post a Toodledo tip that will show a new idea or creative way to use Toodledo. Submit your Toodledo tips to [email protected]. If we pick your idea, we'll give you a free month subscription!

Today's tip:

Did you know that Toodledo has “optional tasks”? With an optional task, if the date passes and you have not completed the task, it will automatically be removed, or moved forward if it's a repeating task.

Hello,

The sync issue is with the 3rd party tool you are using called Gsyncit. If you contact the company that makes it, they should be able to assist you with the problem.

Hope that helps.

Hello,

Set your task to be due on the 1st, then make it repeat monthly. Make sure your repeat option is set to repeat from "due date" not "completion date".

Hope that helps.

You can also create a folder for each grade and then place the cloned tasks (specific student) in their corresponding folder. This may help to organize by grade.

Hello,

You can manually sort your subtasks when they are in the indented mode nested under the parent task. You can do this by dragging and dropping using the arrow icon. You can find an explanation on the link below.

http://www.toodledo.com/info/subtasks.php

Unfortunately, manual sorting is not currently possible for all task, but it's on our to-do list for a future update. To simulate manually ordering of tasks, you can sort your list alphabetically and then prepend a number to the front of each task. You can also use the "tag" field to number tasks and then sort by tags.

Hope that helps.

Yes, setting the due date to "optionally on" will allow the task to move forward to the next occurrence, whether it was checked off or not.

You can also set a start date with the same due date. Then, if you filter out future tasks the task will only appear on the day it's due every week. You can hide future tasks by clicking on "show" in the dark blue menu. Hope this helps!

Hello,

If you create a search for those specific folder, then save the search, you can revert back to that saved search at any time. You will be able to see the task that only pertain to those folders.

http://www.toodledo.com/info/search.php

You can also simply sort your tasks by folder, then open and close any of the dividers.

I hope this helps!

You can also create a search that begins with "Date completed", then "was in the last" and add a number of days, such as 31, if you want to see completed tasks in the last month.

Hi Paul,

Since you are using a 3rd party sync tool, unfortunately, there is no way for us to address the problem. The problem is with the tool, so you will need to contact the company that makes it for assistance. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hello,

It sounds like you are using a 3rd party app for Android. Toodledo does not currently have an Android app.

Thanks
