AFAIK, a folder named "..Just press Edit.." would work the same as any other folder.

That option does not currently exist in TD. I don't believe there's any way to print the Calendar view, other then through a screen capture of some kind.

Go to the Folders view. Make sure no filters are applied. Sort by Folders and whatever secondary and tertiary criteria you like. Make sure your subtasks are set to display "indented". You should see the view you described.

Hey All, Another great book is Steven Covey's "First Things First". For those that haven't read this book, it takes your traditional way of doing things such as making a list, prioritising and doing, to a whole new level. Its a practical book,that teaches you to plan your tasks around the things that are important in your life("big rocks"), and to learn how to empower other people to help you accomplish those tasks. For me this book and his "Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" which is also a must read, changed my life. I now spend more time planning ahead which gives me more time to spend with the people that are important in my life. Cheers NH I've read both of those, and found them very helpful. If anyone ever gets a chance to hear Covey speak, jump on it. He is an incredibly dynamic speaker and can motivate granite rocks! |

That's what the Saved Searches are for. You can roll your own by going to Search (upper left corner), New Search and creating a Search based on Start Date or any other field(s) you like. Give it a try.

I just googled "Siri API" and found the answer:

Interesting - I've been reading iPhone 4S reviews all over the place, and virtually all of them have said that they were told by Apple that the Siri API is unavailable to developers for the time being. I very much doubt that RTM would have some kind of paid-for exception since they're a relatively small vendor compared to dozens of others who would happily pay a large premium to have access to Siri. Maybe some sort of pilot test agreement? Or has Apple reversed their position on this already? Will be interesting to see if others follow soon.
If so, get on it, TD! :) Which begs another question. Wouldn't a request to "remind me to to pick up the milk" go to the new Reminders app, which Siri is connected to already? Is that command being intercepted somehow by RTM? Curious! Does anyone else have any info on this? |

RTM may have a voice interface, but it isn't Siri. The Siri API is not yet available to developers.

I'm not an expert with the iPhone app (haven't ever used it yet), but a standard practice is to remove the app from the iPhone and re-install from iTunes. Have you tried that?

Mine is about 1,250KB, and I don't have (ashamed to admit) thousands of tasks in my task list. I have about 150 active tasks.

Maybe you're making this more difficult than it needs to be? It seems to me, you have 3 choices. One, set up 3 different tasks, one for each event. Two, make one task, for the 10/31 reminder, then change the due date to 11/15, then to 12/1. Three, set up one task, set the reminder for 30 days, then when the 30 day reminder goes off, change it to 14 days.
And please, please, don't tell us that you're so busy you don't have time to reset the reminder or to create 3 tasks! |

I think it's an exaggeration to say Things development is glacial. But if they got some sort of development expert in and hired some more people, they could work their way up to glacial.
