Toodledo behaves the same way that all the other calendar apps behave with monthly repeating tasks. You can try this in Apple iCal, Google Calendar or Outlook and it will do the same thing. For compatibility reasons, we needed to match the behavior of the major calendars. In the future, we plan to offer a "repeat on the last day of the month" option. Right now, the best thing you can do is to have the task repeat on the 1st of every month with an alarm time 1 day before.

Any emailed alarms that were scheduled to be sent during the previous 2 hours may be delayed or skipped. We will continue to work on a backup email sending solution so that if this happens again we can have a quicker resolution. I am sorry for an inconvenience that this may have caused.

Toodledo is mostly unaffected, but our ability to send email is currently impacted. As a result, any task alarms that are supposed to be sent via email are not being sent right now. If you forgot your password, the password reset emails aren't currently being sent. We are working on getting a backup email sending service up and running, but its likely that AWS will fix itself before we are able to finish this. We'll keep you updated.

Another thing you could do is to go into your account settings and change the setting that controls when old completed tasks are deleted to be a smaller time window.

This was a very unusual combination of factors that has never occurred before, so it took a few hours to figure it out. Toodledo is currently catching up with moving forward all the past-due optional repeating tasks. It may take a few hours for it to catch up. If you have already manually moved your tasks forward, or wish to do so now, that won't be a problem. When Toodledo catches up, it will just skip those tasks that you already moved forwards. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Everyone has their own way of managing their todo list and Toodledo is highly customizable, so you should be able to find a way to do what you want.
