The options in the Filter Menu (clicking the eye) are for hiding or revealing tasks based on their attributes. The options in the Action Menu are for controlling how your list looks regardless of what properties those tasks have.

I think your original download must have been under a different iTunes account. You can contact Apple if you need assistance with this since we don't have any control over how the App Store operates.

What you see there as "new column name" is not actually a name, but a label telling you want that input is for. If the column has no title, it won't be added. We'll see about making some sort of error message for this. Sorry for the confusion.

One thing is that the List page will only show 3 columns because there isn't enough room to show more. If you tap on a row or tap on the "Add Row" button it should then show you all the columns. The other thing that may be happening is that you aren't saving the changes. To add a column, you tap "Edit Columns" and then "Add Column" and then enter a name and type. Then press the green checkmark to save those changes. Then you can tap the back button to return to your list.

We think that it happens only on the latest version of Android, but we don't have a device right now that is compatible with Android 6 so we haven't been able to test this theory yet.

We could cap it at a certain point, but it would still be cluttered with future versions that would cause confusion when you go to check it off and see 20 copies of the same task. 2) One of the options is to "repeat from completion date". Since we don't know when you are going to complete the task, we don't know when the next version is going to be, so it would be impossible for us to display the next version in these cases. The fundamental issue here is that Toodledo is a "to-do list" not a "calendar" and this is one of those subtle behaviors that comes from this distinction.

Its been there since day 1. In the top right corner of the notes section is a search bar. Type your query in here which will start by searching the title. If that doesn't find the note, you can click the "Continue Searching in full text" link at the bottom of the note list to do a full search of the entire note. This is because when your eye moves from the end of one line to the start of the next line it has to move a long way (eye fatigue) and can sometimes lose its place and take a while to find the right line to start reading again. This was exacerbated by our old format that allowed the note to be as wide as your list, even if this required horizontally scrolling back and forth, back and forth to read each line. This is why we made the note narrower, to improve readability. The note will be as tall as it needs to be to display the entire note. If you edit a task's note, the text box is 6 lines high. We felt that this was tall enough to allow editing and still provide some context so that you could see the tasks around it for reference. We may make the default size taller in the future, but in the meantime, in all web browsers except Internet Explorer, you can resize the note editing text box to be whatever size you want by dragging the bottom right corner of the box.

You can turn this on again for this website by going to your account settings and looking in the "Fields Used" section. DTG GTD is not made by us, so you will need to contact that company for instructions on how to enable to the star field inside their app.

The idea behind this is that you don't want to miss an important alarm, so we send it everywhere we can. We don't currently have plans to make it possible to only send some alarms to some places and other alarms to other places. However, if you are a programmer or know a programmer, there is nothing stopping you from using our Developers API to make your own app that sends alarms to different places if you really need something like this. If the window is too short, there are technical reasons why this won't work. I am not sure that I understand what you mean by it only displaying the tops. Can you please create a support ticket and upload a screenshot that shows what the problem is?

I think it could be your popup blockers. When you click the "Save" button, it should cause a popup to appear which asks you for the title of the search. Your popup blocker may be preventing this. Very soon, we will be releasing an update that changes how saved searches are saved to not require a popup anymore, so I think that this will probably fix the problem for you.
