Status and start-date are now on the "Add multiple tasks" page. Status and start-date should now be available everywhere on Toodledo except for the import/export tools, which is where we are focusing our energy next.

It now supports adding tasks with notes, status, start-date and advanced repeating values. Additionally, it has a popup date and time picker for start-date and due-date. This new version of the add-on was built especially for Firefox 3.0 and is not backwards compatible, so if you are not yet ready to switch completely to Firefox 3.0, you should hold off on installing this update.

To be perfectly honest, this totally slipped our mind when we made start-date, so thanks to everyone for pointing out this missing feature :) We'll get it added to the next update.

Here is an example that illustrates the problem that I described earlier. I called Jott and said "Hello, this is a task. Folder work. Context phone. Due tomorrow." This is what Jott transcribed into my account: "Hello, it is a task builder work, contact phone do(?) tomorrow." As you can see. The special keywords "folder", "context" and "due" were incorrectly translated. With this amount of inaccuracy, Toodledo would be unable to properly place the task into the correct folder and context 100% of the time.

If you create a saved search for the via=Jott field, you will always have an instant list of all tasks that came in through Jott. You can use this to sort your tasks after they have been entered. The reason that we have not yet added folder/context/etc from Jott is because Jott's voice to text accuracy is not 100% and there is no way to provide feedback from Toodledo back to Jott about how we understood your commands. The problem is that if Jott does not accurately understand which folder/context you say, it will not be put into the proper folder/context (unbeknownst to you) and this may cause problems if you expect the task to be there. As it is, you can use Jott to quickly stick the task into your inbox and then properly sort it later.

However, since "no folder" is the value attached to a task by default, many people use this as their "to be processed" box. Hope that helps.

What you are really doing is creating a Toodledo password, which is necessary if you want to use the API or things built upon the API (for example the Firefox Addon).

It now supports the star, status and start-date fields that were recently added to the main website. It is also now possible to add subtasks and create new folders, contexts and goals from the slim version.
