Since the CSV import can only be done from a signed-in user, this is considered to be a safe action, so we can create folders. Email is not safe because anyone can send it in, so we take more precautions.

And sometimes Google is flakey and doesn't like the iCal subscriptions until you wait an hour and try again.

It's a personal preference. You don't need both, and we never would have told you to get both, so I'm not sure where you heard that. My advice is to play with them and decide which one you like better.

This is a bug that I just fixed, so it will be in the next update which will be out in a week or two.

The bug is that the date isn't getting updated visibly. I'm guessing that if you close and reopen the iPhone app, the list would then look correct. I'll file the bug to get fixed.

Just tap "Due Dates" and then "Today". Now you are looking at todays tasks. Now sort this list by "due-date", which will also use the due-time for any of the tasks that you have it set for. Also, you can sort by priority and time as well. To do this, you'll need to go into "Settings" and then "Fields and Defaults". Reorder the fields so that priority and due-time are at the top. This tells Toodledo that these are your most important fields, so it will sort by these as secondary options. Now, when you sort by priority, it will use due-time as a secondary sort criteria. Likewise, if you sort by time it will use priority as a secondary criteria. Hope that helps

It's hard to explain why, but the iPhone works differently, so it is possible to see significant speed increases on the iPhone vs the website. We'll look into it and see if there is a way to speed up the notebook when you have thousands of notes. Thanks

Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Dec 31, 2008 Score: 0 You can add multiple tags like you are suggesting, and then you can see the task listed under each tag when you are in the tag view and click on the tabs at the top of the page. However, if you are looking at a list and sort by tag, the task will only appear once under the combined tag heading. You can try it out and see what I mean. Hope that helps
Jake Toodledo Admin	Posted Dec 31, 2008 in: All tasks suddenly disappeared - except todays Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Dec 31, 2008 Score: 0 There are only a few reasons why all of your tasks would be deleted. 1) You have two accounts with Toodledo and have signed into the wrong one. 2) You selected the "delete all tasks" command from your account settings. 3) Your tasks are set to be "optional" and the due-date passed. 4) The tasks aren't really deleted, but hidden because of one of your filters. 5) It could be a bug with the Outlook Sync tool. Since we didn't make that tool, I don't know how it works or what might cause it to delete your tasks. But it's possible. I'm not really sure what happened, but it sounds like you have a backup, so it should be easy to get them back into Toodledo. You might want to check on the Outlook Sync tool, since that seems to be misbehaving in other ways as well. This message was edited Dec 31, 2008.

We don't have that many Jott users, and since they went to a Paid only model, that number has been dropping fast, so it has been difficult to justify us making the development effort to do this conversion.
