The in-page search function slows down once you get several hundred tasks. We are exploring ways to make this more efficient. In the meantime, you could use your web browsers built in search, or use our advanced search page.

The intended way to send specific reminders to different project workers is for each worker to have a Toodledo account, and to assign the task to them. That way, their reminders will trigger and be sent to them, through their account.

This freedom is important for our motivation and for our ability to react quickly to embrace new directions that we might want to go. Also, pre-announcing all our future feature enhancements would tip off our competitors.

By the way, you should know that the URLs that you have posted here are supposed to be kept a secret, since anyone who clicks on them can see all of your tasks. You can see how a task was added by hovering your mouse over the checkbox for a second. Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Sep 01, 2009 Score: 0 I don't know how your search parameters are grouped, but if you are requiring a due-date in the last 999 days or in the next 7 days, a task without a due-date will not match either rule. And you are correct, that if you are viewing the search page in "hidden" or "indented" mode, the parent must match the search for the subtask to also appear. If you need to find subtasks that don't necessarily have matching parents, you need to switch over to the flattened mode. The flattened mode was the default search mode before this update for this reason, now you have the option, but there is the potential for missing a subtask if you use "indented" exclusively.

Score: 0 Jake (Admin) Posted: Aug 31, 2009 Score: 0 A feature addition and a few bugs fixed: 1) Quicker adding of new folders/contexts/goals. This isn't quite the "on-the-fly" creation that some people have been asking for (we still intend to make that in the future), but it is an improvement. Example: On the folder view, there is an "add folder..." link to the right of your tabs (if there is room). This link will now popup a form to quickly add a new folder without leaving the page. If there isn't room for the "add folder" link, it will be placed at the bottom of the "More Folders" popup box. Same goes for contexts and goals. 2) Fixed a bug where swapping tabs on the saved search page would sometimes not apply the search correctly to indented subtasks. 3) Fixed a bug where an apostrophe in a tag would cause that tag's tab to not load correctly. 4) Fixed a bug where the quick-dates on the calendar popup would display the wrong date on the second page reload of the "add multiple tasks" page.
