You could also put all the items into the note of the task with + or - in front of each line to simulate a checkbox.

Apple requires apps who use Push to re-authenticate each time the app is launched, which means asking Apple's servers for permission and then sending that permission slip to Toodledo's servers. We have submitted a small update to Apple that will cause this to not freeze the application for 1 second on launch.

The app needs to talk to Apple's servers and then to our servers to authenticate everything. In the next update, which we are testing right now, this freeze will no longer happen. If you are on a slow network (like EDGE with only 1-2 bars) it might freeze for 2-3 seconds. Sorry about this. We should have this fix submitted to Apple in the next few days.
