Yes, Google Calendar has a published API that allows third parties to connect to their service. This is how we were able to integrate with GCal. GMail, to my knowledge, has no such API. Any integration with it would be unsupported by Google and could potentially break at any time, or cause data loss or corruption, which is something that we want to avoid.

We are trying to find a way to efficiently toggle all subtasks open and closed, but we don't have a solution yet. This is a high priority item on our to-do list.

Thanks

There are a few things to check. First, make sure that your timezone is set correctly in your account settings. Second, make sure that you have reminders turned on for your Twitter account. You can read how to that here:

http://www.toodledo.com/info/help_twitter.php

There may also be some settings on your Twitter account that are preventing the reminders from being forwarded to your IM client, so you might want to test my sending a tweet to yourself and see if it gets passed along to your gtalk account like you expect.

Hope that helps.

Is there a way so I only see the tasks I have to do today?

Absolutely. Go to the Due-Date view and then click the "Today" tab.

You could also use the Advanced Due-date Modifiers to tell Toodledo not to bug you about these tasks until them come up.

Hope that helps

If you are using a free account, tasks that are completed more than 1 week ago are hidden. You can upgrade to a Pro account to see them again.

The Gmail extension that RTM built is a great tool and I commend them on it. The problem is (at least as far as I understand it) that Gmail does not have official support for Gmail extensions. The RTM extension essentially hacks into Gmail, which may be against Gmails terms of use, I dont know. We try to do everything through official channels so we don't get in trouble. If Gmail ever releases an API or SDK to officially allow third party extensions to their platform, then we will jump on board very quickly.

We would love to have a blackberry client. None of us have a blackberry, so developing a client for it would be a little difficult, but maybe we'll get one someday.

First, go into your account settings and turn on the "reassign" field. Now, you can quickly reassign any of your tasks to your collaborators.

If you want to add a task to a collaborator in one step, switch to their list (using the collaborator link in the yellow bar) and then just add a task like normal.

Hope that helps

Yes, we are aware that the iPhone version of Safari is inexplicably unable to scroll our website. We think this is a bug in Safari, but we have not had a chance to fully investigate it.

Adding subtasks via the slim interface is something that is on our to-do list.

Thanks

I understand your disappointment, and believe me, we would have loved to have made this part of the Pro subscription. Normally, added functionality incurs little or no additional overhead for us, so we give it out to everyone for free. This is not the case with high-availability redundant storage with continuous backups. The added infrastructure is significant and we are unable to give it to everyone for free.

We had three options.

1) Don't add file storage
2) Increase the cost of Pro
3) Create a second tier subscription

We decided that number 3 was the best for our customers because it allowed people who don't want this functionality to avoid having to pay for it.

If you look at our competitors, we are still significantly cheaper: Vitalist charges $120/year for 1GB of storage and Nozbe charges $125/year (Remember the Milk doesn't have file storage). We think that Toodledo's $30/year is a very affordable solution for people.

As far as future updates go, we plan to continue providing most of our updates to our Free and Pro subscribers. Pro Plus was created solely for file storage and we intend for that to be the only significant difference between the two subscriptions.

I hope that helps explain our decision.

It's hard to say without looking into your account, which I can do if you give me permission.

Off the top of my head, I would suggest looking at the Due-date for the tasks that you imported. If they are more than 6 months in the future, they will not be put in the book, or returned via the email query because they are considered to be too far in the future to matter.

Hope that helps

monkeygrip, you must have accidentally clicked on the "1 year renewal" link instead of the upgrade link. I'll fix it for you right now.
