Sorry, it isn't possible to get your hotlist emailed to you on demand. Thanks for the suggestion. I put it on the list.

Here is our latest batch of improvements:

New Stuff
1) Auto-Timezone. When setting your timezone in your account settings, we now have an "auto" option which will attempt to automatically set the time based on your current location. This should make daylight savings time easier to deal with and will make it easier for people who travel frequently.

2) Reverse sorting for second and third sort criteria is now possible. Look in the sort toolbar.

3) When viewing a collaborator, Toodledo will now remember how you sorted and filtered their list on a per-view basis, just like we remember for your list.

4 [updated] ) Additional keyboard shortcuts: Arrow keys. When editing a task, you can now use control+up/down to move to the next editable field up or down in the list.

Bugs Fixed
1) Keyboard shortcuts will no longer trigger incorrectly on function keys.
2) When adding a subtask directly to a parent task, you can now pick "repeats with parent" as the repeat option.
3) When viewing a collaborator's list, the context and tag filters will now show their contexts and tags, not yours.
4) Plus a number of little bug fixes of lesser importance.

You may have a funny plugin or something that causes a conflict. Usually, clicking anywhere on the page will work, but IE7 is probably the worst browser that we support right now, so it might be a little flakey. I'll look into it.

All optional tasks are simply completed when their due-date passes. If the task is set to repeat, then it does so then. If it is not repeating then it just stays completed. If you don't want a task to get automatically completed, then you shouldn't use the "optional" option.

Are you using API 1.0 or API 2.0?

API 2.0 has GMT timestamps. I just reconfirmed that the modification date is correctly set and retrieved as GMT.

I got a current unix timestamp, which was 1294961091 or Thu, 13 Jan 2011 23:24:51 GMT. It was 6:24 EST when I ran this test.

Then I edited a task via the 2.0 API and I looked at the modified time returned. It was just a few seconds after the above timestamp.

Thanks for the bug report. I will look into it. In the meantime, here are 3 ways to get around it.

1) Entering the time using a 24 hour clock. So, to enter 8:30, you would type 20:30.
2) You could also tab to the AM/PM option and pick the value each time you change the time.
3) Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to adjust the hours instead of typing in the new value. In your example, you would press the up arrow key twice.

It isn't currently possible to have this message on the left side, but you might consider removing unused columns, or resizing some of the columns to make horizontal scrolling no longer necessary.

Can you please create a support ticket for this so that we can look into your account and see what the problem is?

The keyboard shortcuts will only work if the webpage has "focus" which means that key presses are being sent to the page. Usually, this means that you have to click somewhere on the page first, and then keyboard shortcuts will work until you click elsewhere.

It is not possible to have two accounts with the same email address. The system will not allow it. They must be subtly different.

But yes, you can delete any account that you have access too, from the bottom of the account settings page.

Our iPhone app does support sorting by due-date. Just tap where it says "Sorted by..." at the top of your list to select that option.

You must have "alarms come from device" selected in the Alarm settings inside our app. If you have alarms set to come from the device, then it won't appear in the notification settings section.

Thanks for the bug report. It has been fixed. That was debugging code that accidentally got left it. The numbers were simply counts of the number of total subtasks, shown subtasks, hidden subtasks, completed and uncompleted subtasks within that parent. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, it is probably a start-date combined with the "hide future tasks" filter. It might also be the status field. Try enabling these fields in your account settings and see if the missing tasks have a value set for either of these.
