Hiding subtasks at the top level is already possible. Click on the "Hidden Tasks" link in the toolbar above the list and choose "Subtasks Hidden".

Indenting in the list is a planned update.

You can do this in two ways.

1) In your account settings at the bottom, use the "delete old completed tasks" link.

2) Use our multi-edit too on the search page to find and delete completed tasks.

Hope that helps.

If you want to sync with WM's task app, you will need a 3rd party app.

In fact, we do store time as seconds since midnight in our database. We convert to GMT for the API, because our developers requested this. As I mentioned, we only request timezone so that we can send the alarm at the right time. Since a 6am alarm clock is always a 6am alarm clock anywhere in the world, we need to know where you are in order to send that 6am alarm at the right time. If we did not support alarms, we would not need to collect the timezone.

This is how times have been stored and implemented for the last 6 years on our website and we have never gotten any requests to have times automatically adjusted based on the timezone.

In any case, now that you know how we store time, it shouldn't be hard for you to accommodate this in your app. I would argue that it is easier since you don't need to know about timezones.

I suspected that BB would not support offline mode, since it is the least capable browser. I will investigate and see if there is a work around.

Thanks for the suggestion. We can't comment on a timeframe for implementation, but this is on our to-do list.

Unfortunately, this isn't possible, but it is on our to-do list. However, we can't comment on a timeframe for implementation.

Thanks

Do you also have "Sync on startup" enabled? This is necessary for the iPhone to get changes made on the website or other devices when you launch the app. Otherwise, it will wait until you make an edit to sync and get and queued up changes.

There are several 3rd party WM apps in our "Tools" section that will sync your WM phone directly to this website. You can also use our new mobile website ( http://m.toodledo.com ). It is still in beta testing, but it will work offline and sync your WM phone directly to the website.

The date is stored in a key-value database inside the web browser as specified by the HTML5 specification for local storage.

http://dev.w3.org/html5/webstorage/

Theoretically, it could be used for backing up your data and restoring it to Toodledo, but we have not designed it in this capacity. We recommend using this tool for backups: http://www.toodledo.com/tools/connect_backup.php

When you complete a low level goal, it will trickle up to the contributing goals. This affects the counter next to the goal that says how many tasks completed, and it affects the goal chain.

True, it is more of a warning than an error, but we don't have a method for sending warnings back to the requester. We figured that a developer would get this error once, and then look it up and fix their code so it would never happen again. We disallow these fields in the request to save bandwidth. I know that 10 bytes may not seem like much, but when you multiple it by the millions of API calls we get per day, it really adds up on our end, which is why we are aggressive about sending and requesting the minimum amount of data necessary.

Times in Toodledo are stored as "floating times". 10:00am is always 10:00am regardless of where you are. We store the times as GMT. You do not need to do any conversions for timezones. Just display the time converted into a GMT string and it will always be correct.

The reasoning: If you are in California and make an appointment for 10:00am next month, and then travel to New York, the appointment is still set for 10:00am. It wouldn't be correct for your appointment to have been automatically rescheduled to 1:00pm. People would miss their appointments.

The only reason why we need to know your timezone is so that we can send the alarms at the correct time.
