This is the default option because it is the list registered to the account that you are signed into. The other options (in your case 'me/Kris') are for your collaborators that you have setup in the sharing section. This allows you to switch to your collaborator to view their list. If you never want to see your tasks, and only want to see the tasks on the other account, then you should just sign into that other account.

Im not familiar with Lion Mail, so I don't know where this setting is.

You could use the tag or context filters to hide these tasks from the hotlist. Or you could make a custom search like mentioned above, but this wont (yet) sync to the iPhone.

In the meantime, you can adjust the colors to your hearts content by using a web browser plugin called Stylish, but you'll have to learn a little CSS first. For example, to make the red color pink instead you would make this custom rule .date3{color:pink !important;}

If you need to search within a search, click the "modify search" link and just adjust the original search criteria.

My gut reaction is that its probably faster to open Toodledo on your phone and tap a checkbox than it is to open an app and scan a code, but there is a wow factor there. There's nothing stopping a 3rd party app from doing his with our existing API, and thats probably what I would encourage.
